Focused Energy is a fusion energy startup with the goal of generating unlimited clean energy to responsibly meet future global demand. The founders include two highly renowned scientists and a longtime entrepreneur and founder of several successful startups. With the use and commercialization of laserinduced inertial fusion a clean and highly efficient power generation technology is coming within reach suitable to ensure a secure and scalable future energy supply.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Recruiter to lead talent acquisition efforts in Germany. This role will play a critical part in hiring exceptional talent across science engineering and business functions acting as a strategic partner to hiring managers and the leadership team. You will collaborate closely with our USbased recruiting and people teams to ensure a consistent and effective global hiring approach. Fluency in both English and German is required.

What youll do :

Own fullcycle recruitment across a range of disciplines such as science engineering finance marketing etc.

Partner with hiring managers to scope roles define hiring needs and guide effective hiring decisions

Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent including passive candidates

Conduct initial screenings and interviews assessing both technical skills and cultural fit

Provide structured feedback and regular updates to hiring managers and stakeholders

Advise teams on labor market trends compensation benchmarks and best hiring practices

Maintain accurate and uptodate candidate data in our applicant tracking system (ATS)

Ensure a highquality candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Represent Focused Energy at industry events job fairs and in employer branding initiatives

Collaborate with the global recruiting team to share knowledge improve processes and align hiring efforts across regions

Who you are :

5 years of experience in recruitment across various functions with heavy preferred experience in technical and engineering roles

Proficient in sourcing tools and strategies including LinkedIn Recruiter Gem and niche job boards

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and influence across all levels

Comfortable managing multiple hiring processes independently and prioritizing in a dynamic setting

Experience with applicant tracking systems

Passionate about recruiting metrics and data

Fluency in both English and German

Preferred : Experience in a fastpaced startup or highgrowth environment

Preferred : Experience in manufacturing or hardware related industries

Preferred : Experience recruiting internationally outside of Europe
