Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a skilled engineer to lead radar sensor model integration and validation within complex simulation ecosystems. You will collaborate across perception, vehicle dynamics, middleware, and communication components to ensure high-fidelity radar model verification.

You will design automated validation workflows, develop test frameworks in Python, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end validation across virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in automotive simulation, validation, testing, or technical customer support.
• Proven experience in radar sensor validation and simulation-based development.
• Experience working in customer-facing project environments.
• Strong understanding of automotive development and validation processes.
• Radar sensor validation and perception testing.
• Simulation-based verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop integration of radar sensor models into complex simulation ecosystems.
• Integrate and test radar environment simulation models with perception, vehicle dynamics, middleware, and communication components.
• Design, develop, and execute system-level verification and validation for high-fidelity radar models and sensor functions.
• Define validation metrics and performance indicators for radar model assessment.
• Analyze radar sensor outputs and validation results to ensure performance, robustness, and traceability.
• Contribute to development and validation for advanced radar sensor functions and perception algorithms.
• Create, execute, and maintain virtual test scenarios for radar verification and validation.
• Develop automated validation workflows for complex multi-component simulation environments.
• Analyze system behavior, interfaces, performance, and robustness across virtual validation platforms.
• Define and execute regression, integration, and end-to-end system tests.
• Support model correlation activities and validation result assessment.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting simulation and validation workflows.
• Develop scalable automated test frameworks using Python and modern DevOps methodologies.
• Integrate automated validation workflows into continuous integration environments.
• Support continuous validation, automated regression testing, and software quality monitoring.
• Improve development efficiency through automation and data-driven verification strategies.
