Job summary

Aptiv PLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industry‑leading ADAS vision systems projects for automotive and military markets. You will manage large, distributed teams and maintain close interaction with customers, ensuring alignment with requirements and timelines.

The role requires German and English fluency, strong budgeting and risk management, and a proven ability to work across international teams. Travel is expected as part of the project scope.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with strong technical background.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in military or automotive industries.
• Experience in automotive ADAS or related areas.
• German native speaker with fluent English is mandatory.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to lead large international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team of 50+ members and coordinate with core PMO.
• Plan and control project within development process and customer requirements.
• Interface to customer and coordinate inquiries.
• Manage budgets and ensure on-time product delivery.
• Lead risk management and escalation processes.
• Prepare regular status reports for management and customers.
• Initiate measures to hit targets on deadlines, quality and cost.
