Kier Group plc is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Highways Maintenance team in Wymondham, Norfolk. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on driving commercial performance, value, profitability and risk management across workstreams, while collaborating with operations, clients and suppliers.

You will lead a team of quantity surveying professionals, monitor budgets and forecasts, and deliver robust final accounts.

Qualifikationen

• Holds a degree, HNC, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor in highways, civil engineering, infrastructure, or major construction projects.
• Strong NEC4 knowledge with ability to apply contractual principles in live projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness with budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting.
• Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills.

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Highways Maintenance team in Wymondham, Norfolk. In this senior commercial role, you'll drive the commercial performance of your given workstreams on our Norfolk highways maintenance contract, ensuring value, profitability and effective risk management. Working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners, you'll provide commercial insight, lead a team of quantity surveying professionals, and help deliver a high-quality service that keeps Norfolk's road network moving.

What will you be responsible for?

• Managing commercial performance of highways maintenance and improvement schemes, including valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
• Monitoring project costs, forecasts and budgets, producing accurate Cost Value Reconciliations

What are we looking for?

• Holds a degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Brings extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor role within highways maintenance, civil engineering, infrastructure, or major construction projects
• Has strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts, particularly the NEC4 Term Service Contract (TSC), with the ability to apply contractual principles effectively in a live project environment
• Demonstrates excellent commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
• Excels at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and negotiating successful commercial outcomes through clear and confident communication
