Mane Contract Services is recruiting a Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a major data centre project in Germany. You will take commercial ownership of the electrical scope, reporting to the Commercial Manager and collaborating with the project team to manage costs, risks and change on a high-profile, technically complex installation.

The successful candidate will bring a track record as a Senior QS in electrical or M&E contracting, with experience on data centre or mission-critical

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in electrical or M&E contracting.
• Experience on Data Centre, Mission-Critical, Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Ability to liaise directly with clients, consultants and senior stakeholders.

• Full commercial and contractual management of the electrical scope throughout the project lifecycle.
• Acting as the primary commercial interface with client commercial and contract teams.
• Managing procurement activities, including electrical subcontractors.
• Detailed cost control, forecasting and commercial risk analysis.
• Reviewing client, design team and subcontractor correspondence and identifying contractual issues.
• Managing subcontractor valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Preparing accurate cost reports, margin forecasts and cashflow reports.
• Managing change control and negotiating costs with the client.
• Preparing and submitting monthly valuations and certifications.
• Driving the successful agreement and close-out of final accounts.
• Supporting the wider project team to ensure commercial performance remains aligned with delivery.

Mane Contract Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international engineering contractor on a major data centre project in Germany.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Electrical QS to take genuine ownership of the commercial and contractual performance of a high-profile, technically complex project.

With a 5+ year pipeline of major European engineering projects, this role offers long-term stability, career development and the opportunity to work on some of the most advanced data centre projects across Europe.

The Opportunity

As Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of the electrical scope, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and wider construction team.

You will act as a key commercial interface between the project, client and supply chain, ensuring costs are controlled, risks are identified, change is managed effectively and commercial objectives are achieved. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position offering significant autonomy, responsibility and visibility.

What We're Looking For

We're looking to speak with experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors who have a strong electrical or M&E contracting background.

You’ll ideally have

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within electrical or M&E contracting
• Experience working on Data Centre, Mission-Critical, Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual management
• Experience managing subcontractors, variations, valuations and final accounts
• Confidence dealing directly with clients, consultants and senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial awareness and risk-management capability
• A proactive, detail-oriented and delivery-focused approach
