Zusammenfassung

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor for a flagship data centre project in Finsterwalde, Germany. You will take commercial ownership from early stages through final account, coordinating with the Commercial Manager and project teams to drive performance and protect returns.

You’ll lead cost control, change management and client liaison, delivering valuations, budgets and cashflow forecasts while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within electrical or M&E contracting.
• Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, life sciences or pharmaceutical projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual management.
• Confident engaging directly with clients, consultants and senior project stakeholders.
• Commercially astute and proactive in managing risk.
• Delivery-focused with autonomy and accountability.

• Managing change control procedures, negotiating and agreeing costs with the client.
• Preparing and submitting monthly valuations and certifications.
• Driving agreement of final accounts in a controlled and professional manner.

This opportunity is for an Electrical Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a major data centre project in Finsterwalde, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and construction teams to drive performance, manage risk and protect returns.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor (Electrical), you will lead the commercial and contractual function for the electrical scope of the project from early stages through to final account.

You’ll be the key commercial interface with the client and supply chain, ensuring costs are controlled, change is managed properly, and the project is delivered in line with commercial objectives.

This is a delivery‑focused role with genuine autonomy and accountability.
