Zusammenfassung

TGS International Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major data centre project in Frankfurt. You will bridge design and construction, coordinating electrical systems from development through installation, commissioning and handover.

Based in Frankfurt, you will review designs, manage submittals and RFIs, and ensure the latest drawings are used on site, while aligning with project managers, design engineers and site teams to meet the

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience as a Project Engineer within electrical or M&E construction.
• Strong electrical design knowledge with design coordination experience.
• Ability to review/evaluate electrical designs and identify issues.
• Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex projects (data centres preferred).
• Ability to coordinate between design, commercial and site delivery teams.
• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Role: Electrical Project Engineer - Data Centre Construction

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Salary: €100,000 - €120,000 + living allowance + flights + accommodation

Job Type: Permanent / Full Time

Rotation: 17 days on / 4 days off (rotation package applies to out of country applicants)

Due to continued growth in Germany, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major data centre project in Frankfurt.

The role will sit between design and construction, providing technical support throughout the project and ensuring electrical systems are properly coordinated from design development through installation, commissioning and handover.

What you'll be doing

• Reviewing electrical designs, drawings, specifications and technical requirements
• Working closely with the design team to identify issues, coordinate changes and develop practical construction solutions
• Managing technical submittals through the review and approval process
• Raising and managing RFIs and maintaining accurate RFI schedules
• Ensuring site teams are working from the latest approved drawings and specifications
• Managing redline drawings and coordinating as-built information with the design team
• Coordinating with Project Managers, Design Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and site teams
• Tracking long-lead electrical plant and equipment against the construction programme
• Monitoring subcontractor performance, quality and technical compliance
• Supporting variations, change management and procurement activities
• Attending design, site and project coordination meetings
• Supporting testing, commissioning, handover and O&M documentation
• Ensuring compliance with relevant technical standards, building regulations and EHS requirements

What we're looking for

• Strong experience as a Project Engineer within electrical or M&E construction
• Strong electrical design knowledge, ideally gained through a hands-on design background or significant design coordination experience
• Ability to review and challenge electrical designs and identify technical or buildability issues
• Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex projects, ideally within data centres or mission-critical environments
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction delivery
• Experience managing technical submittals, RFIs, drawings and project documentation
• Ability to coordinate effectively between design, commercial and site delivery teams
• Relevant degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of the tendering and procurement process
• Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project and electrical design software would be advantageous.
