We are convinced that various central banks will introduce a digital version of their currency, a so-called Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), such as the digital Euro, in the coming years. This will create a new market for products and services that align with Giesecke+Devrient's product portfolio. To succeed in this innovative environment, we have established a dedicated team within G+D advance52 GmbH, focused on growth and creating a substantial product business.
The quality of the CBDC ecosystem is of paramount importance. To maintain and enhance our standards across all levels—both functional and non-functional—we are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Architect (m/f/d).
In this role, reporting directly to the Head of Product Development, you will play a key role in upholding the trust that G+D has earned over more than 170 years.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain strategies to ensure the highest quality standards across the entire CBDC ecosystem.
- Define and uphold risk analysis strategies for all components and the overall solution.
- Develop frameworks for functional, performance, security, and penetration testing.
- Architect and develop modular, reusable automated testing solutions.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement new testing tools and frameworks.
- Coordinate testing activities with partners, focusing on non-functional requirements such as performance and security.
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and concerns, then design and implement QA strategies to meet those needs.
Your Profile:
- Expertise in developing and executing test plans across various testing types including functional, regression, unit, system, performance, stress, and load testing.
- Proficiency in all levels of the testing pyramid.
- Experience with implementing Continuous Integration and build automation.
- Skills in designing WebService/API testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Source Code Management Tools such as git.
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks and tools for iOS and Android.
- Knowledge of security and penetration testing.
- Understanding of DevOps testing practices.
