We are seeking a talented Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Schufa App Team.

Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
2. Develop automation tools using TypeScript and Python.
3. Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks and libraries to improve testing efficiency.
4. Utilize tools such as Selenium, Appium 2, TestNG, and JUnit for automated testing.
5. Monitor application health using AWS CloudWatch, analyze logs, and set up alerts for system issues.
6. Track application crashes and errors using Firebase Crashlytics and other monitoring tools.
7. Perform tracing of requests and API calls to diagnose performance bottlenecks and failures.
8. Conduct load and performance testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, and AWS Load Testing tools.
9. Utilize AWS Device Farm for testing across real devices in the cloud.
10. Conduct defect analysis and reporting to ensure software quality.
11. Participate in grooming, sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
12. Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product owners to identify areas for automation.
13. Provide mentorship and leadership within the QA team.
14. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation. Perform manual testing when necessary.

Requirements

1. At least 5 years of experience in QA automation using Selenium, Java, and Appium.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance testing, including planning, implementation, and automation.
3. Strong experience in managing product test cases with tools like Jira Xray, TestRail, and qTest.
4. Experience integrating automation scripts with GitHub workflows.
5. Familiarity with AWS services, including AWS Device Farm and CloudWatch.
6. Experience with Firebase Crashlytics for error tracking.
7. Understanding of request tracing techniques for debugging APIs and backend interactions.
8. Proficiency with load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, and AWS-based solutions.
9. Good NoSQL skills, with familiarity with MongoDB.
10. Ability to create comprehensive test plans and test cases from specifications or verbal instructions.
11. Strong customer focus, proactive, organized, and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
12. Experience working in an agile environment.
13. Fluency in English; German is a plus but not mandatory.
