As a Senior QA Automation Engineer IoT, you will work on complex problems in delivering renewable energy solutions: from building pipelines for automated regression testing, to educating and coaching team members on structured test design and coverage, to troubleshooting and prioritizing problem areas and bugs.

Qualifications

We seek a candidate with roughly 50% of the following qualifications, with the rest being your unique contributions and diversity that help us grow:

• 5+ years in QA testing (manual/automation), with experience in IoT devices and embedded systems.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Pytest, Robot Framework) and creating custom frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing hardware products, such as energy-related devices and IoT products.
• Experience with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, Modbus, OCPP, HTTP, Zigbee, Wi-Fi).
• Knowledge of setting up CI/CD pipelines, especially for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting tools (JTAG, serial consoles, Wireshark).
• Strong collaboration skills to work across hardware, cloud, and product teams.
• Ability to establish QA processes and best practices.
• Experience leading a QA guild or similar communities of practice.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
