Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and contribute to the core protocol of the InterBlockchain Communication (IBC) protocol.

Role Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the IBC protocol to enable seamless blockchain interoperability.
• Develop and improve the IBC protocol specification.
• Serve as the expert and primary owner of major IBC components (e.g., IBCgo, IBCsolidity, light clients).
• Mentor and develop fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Implement rigorous security measures and testing practices to ensure protocol robustness.

Qualifications

• Required:

At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with deep knowledge of blockchain technology, and experience in protocol development.

• Bonus qualifications include familiarity with IBC protocols, expertise in cross-chain or interoperability protocols, proficiency in Go, Rust, Solidity, or Solana programs, and contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
