Job summary

Mycompas is seeking an experienced program/transition manager to lead the handover of projects into operational service. You will engage in early planning, define criteria, and coordinate with PMs, service owners and customers to ensure a smooth transition.

The role emphasizes readiness, documentation, and contracts management, with oversight of staffing and training to support go-live and early life support.

Qualifications

• Experience managing budgets, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Proven vendor and contractor management against SLAs and contracts.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams in international settings.
• Experience with NATO, military or defence environments is preferred.
• Experience with deployable CIS or mission-critical comms services.
• ITIL 4 Managing/Strategist certifications (or MSP/PgMP/SIAM) beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition of projects and capabilities into operational service from planning to handover.
• Define transition plans, acceptance criteria and handover deliverables with PMs, Service Owners and customers.
• Ensure operational readiness before go-live: support model, staffing, training, documentation, spares, contracts, monitoring, and CM data.

Experience

• Experience in budget and cost management, including forecasting, cost control and financial reporting ;
• Proven experience managing vendors and contractors against contractual and service level obligations ;
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an international environment .
• Experience in NATO, military , defence or other international organisations ;
• Experience with deployable CIS or mission-critical communications services ;
• ITIL 4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader; MSP or PgMP ; SIAM certification .

Duties

• Leading the transition of projects and capabilities into operational service, from early engagement in project planning through to formal handover and early life support ;
• Defining and agreeing transition plans, entry and exit criteria, service acceptance criteria and handover deliverables with Project Managers, Service Owners and customers ;
• Ensuring operational readiness prior to go-live: support model, staffing, training, documentation, spares, underpinning contracts, monitoring and configuration data are in place.
