(SENIOR) PROJECT MANAGER OPERATIONS

at any time, permanent contract, during the week often on site with our customers, on Friday typically in our offices in Munich, Cologne or Hamburg

Your mission

1. As a Project Manager, you drive change, deeply understand processes, and deliver sustainable improvements for our clients
2. You lead and manage demanding consulting projects from concept to implementation, with a focus on Operational Excellence, especially in the manufacturing industry (e.g. machinery, equipment, automotive)
3. You analyze value chains and business processes to identify efficiency potentials
4. Based on your findings, you develop tailored improvement concepts using Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar methodologies
5. You take an active role in building long-term client relationships and support business development efforts
6. You lead project teams and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders
7. You are eager to look beyond your core responsibilities and contribute to topics in related areas – e.g. strategy, supply chain management, or procurement
8. You help strengthen our profile as a leading consultancy in operations-related topics, particularly in key industries like automotive, industrial goods, and defence & aviation

Your profile

1. A Master's degree from a reputable university or even better: an MBA or doctorate
2. At least 6 years of professional or consulting experience with a management consultancy
3. Sound experience in managing large, complex projects in the field of operations with management and project responsibility
4. A deep understanding of operations processes from various companies and industries, complemented by experience in production footprint optimisation and digitalisation
5. Industry expertise ideally in Automotive, Industrial Goods or Defence & Aviation
6. You are fluent in German, English and perhaps another foreign language
