(SENIOR) PROJECT MANAGER OPERATIONS

Location: any time, permanent contract, often on site with our customers during the week, typically in our offices in Munich, Cologne, or Hamburg.

Your mission

• You will independently manage large and complex projects in the area of operations for our national and international customers—from conception to implementation.
• You contribute your expertise in operational excellence, digitalisation, and production strategy to customer projects in a targeted manner.
• You take an active role in acquiring new projects, including proposal development and pitch management.
• You have the desire to think outside the box and work on technical projects in related fields (e.g., strategy, SCM, procurement).
• You will also be responsible for the development of our consultants on the projects.
• You will help to further raise our profile as a leading consultancy for operations topics in key industries such as Automotive, Industrial Goods, and Defence & Aviation.

Your profile

• A Master's degree from a reputable university or, even better, an MBA or doctorate.
• At least 6 years of professional or consulting experience with a management consultancy or a market-leading company.
• Sound experience in managing large, complex projects in the field of operations with management and project responsibility.
• A deep understanding of operations processes from various companies and industries, complemented by experience in production footprint optimisation and digitalisation.
• Industry expertise ideally in Automotive, Industrial Goods, or Defence & Aviation.
• You are fluent in German, English, and perhaps another foreign language.
• In addition to your analytical and structured way of thinking and working, you have an appropriate feel for situations and people, which further increases your chances with us.
