Job Description

As our European Data Centre business continues to grow, we are excited to offer new opportunities in Munich and look forward to connecting with experienced Project Management professionals!

• Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets.
• Oversee the implementation of MEP systems to ensure they meet project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure clear understanding of requirements and project timelines.
• Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
• Participate in the tendering and procurement process, ensuring contract terms and conditions align with FIDIC standards.
• Review, correct, and assess work-in-place to approve capital expenditure spends.
• Review and approve cost-loaded schedules.
• Lead client and other required meetings.
• Identify factors influencing construction costs and monitor/report on this data.
• Review, validate, and audit cost estimates prepared by contractors and others within a client’s organization.
• Support engineering decisions related to project cost and budget during design-build changes in construction.
• Review payment requests.
• Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule.
• Record occurrences that might result in a claim, acting on the client’s behalf.
• Advocate for the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.
• Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews.
• Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments.

Qualifications

• University degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Project Manager for major construction projects, with experience in Data Centre Construction required.
• Experience in MEP-related tasks.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is preferred.
• Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to support other groups and projects.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and dynamism.
• Fluent English; B2 level in German is preferred.
