Job Description

Due to the continued success and expansion of our European business, we currently have opportunities in BERLIN and are seeking Project Management Professionals.

  • Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets.
  • Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
  • Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slips.
  • Review construction proposals and related pricing/scopes.
  • Review, correct, and assess work-in-place to approve capital expenditure spends.
  • Review and approve cost-loaded schedules.
  • Lead and facilitate client and other required meetings.
  • Identify factors influencing construction costs and monitor/report on this data.
  • Review, validate, and audit cost estimates prepared by contractors and internal teams.
  • Support engineering decisions related to project cost and budget during design-build changes.
  • Review payment requests.
  • Ensure equipment meets project schedules.
  • Record incidents that might result in claims, acting on behalf of the client.
  • Represent the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.
  • Coordinate and oversee scheduling reviews with consultants.
  • Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Several years of experience as a Project Manager on major construction projects; experience in Data Centre Construction projects is required.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • Team-oriented attitude, self-motivated, and willing to support other projects and teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and dynamism.
  • Fluent in English and at least B2 level in German.
