Senior Project Manager - HR SAP Transformation (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead one of our most strategic and high-priority initiatives: the global transformation from SAP ECC to SAP SuccessFactors. This role is pivotal to the success of our overall transformation journey. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP program delivery and project management, with a demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in international and matrixed environments. Key to success in this position is the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder landscapes, drive alignment across business and technical functions, and communicate effectively with senior leadership, including C-level executives. The candidate should live in Germany, have an EU work permit and the willingness to travel 4 days per month on average within Europe.

How you will create an impact:- Project Management: Provide professional project management and coordinate the transformation from SAP ECC to SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technical requirements.
- Proactive Risk Management: Continuously monitor project progress and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all project phases.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to project scope, quality standards, and objectives through close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders exercising a strong and consistent stakeholder relation management.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Provide consistent and goal-oriented leadership to interdisciplinary project teams, fostering strong identification with aligned goals and collaboration between IT, FI, HR and business units.
- Workstream Integration: Align overlapping workstreams, manage dependencies, and drive solution-oriented collaboration that balances stakeholder interests and delivers agreed outcomes.
- Communication Management: Moderate on point discussions, ensure closed communication loops by following through on discussions and conclusively addressing open points.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare and present high-impact reports and updates for top management, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Technical Oversight: Coordinate the development and quality assurance of technical concepts and system designs, including specifications and functional documentation.
- Provider Management: Collaborate closely with external service providers to ascertain that defined deliverables are implemented according to plan.
About you:- Project Experience: At least 6 years of proven experience in the management and successful implementation of SAP SuccessFactors in international organizations. Preferably in matrix organizations, and professional services such as consulting.
- Expertise in Project Controlling: Expert knowledge in time and resource planning, cost calculation, and benefits realization analysis.
- Professional Background: Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification, proven professional project management experience or certification (ideally PMP, PgMP, or equivalent)
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills paired with a strategic, conceptual mindset—capable of breaking down complex challenges into actionable solutions and driving effective change management across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Stakeholder Communication: Skilled in operating at the interface between business and Corporate Functions including IT, with the ability to present complex topics clearly and confidently to varied audiences.
- Work Ethic & Organization: Structured, independent, and reliable working style, complemented by flexibility and strong organizational talent.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with full fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Methodological Competence: Broad experience in formal project management, including planning, controlling, and monitoring using both classic and agile methodologies.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel 4 days per month on average and within Europe.
