Job Summary

The Red Hat Consulting team is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Engagement Lead for agile transformation to join us in Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, or remotely in Germany. This role involves managing service projects from initiation to closure, coordinating customer workshops, supporting staffing and risk management, and promoting project management best practices within Red Hat’s services.

Responsibilities

1. Guide project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities.
2. Discover and implement new approaches to technology delivery using agile methods.
3. Manage project scope, requirements, and change management issues.
4. Staff projects with suitable consultants and architects.
5. Create and lead high-performing, collaborative teams.
6. Train, coach, or mentor team members on agile and DevOps practices.
7. Facilitate workshops to clarify engagement goals and demonstrate progress.
8. Lead and facilitate Open Innovation Labs residencies using agile practices.
9. Monitor project activities and participate in status meetings.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in managing complex IT projects and multicultural teams.
2. Strong communication and leadership skills.
3. Ability to work independently across diverse teams.
4. Business and technical acumen.
5. Experience in consulting and pre-sales activities.
6. Fluency in German and English; French is a plus.
7. Willingness to travel 40-45% within Germany and EMEA.
8. Qualifications supporting agile methodologies; PMI and PMP certifications are advantageous.
