Job Description

Join ZEISS as a Senior Project Manager SAT-X, a key role within the Services Accounting & Tax (SAT) department. You will co-drive strategic transformation initiatives, including process governance, ERP roll-ins (e.g., S4/HANA), and global and regional projects. Your responsibilities include ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with governance principles. This role is crucial in establishing SAT-X as a global process excellence hub.

Responsibilities

1. Co-lead and manage end-to-end strategic transformation projects within the department.
2. Ensure project delivery according to timeline, budget, and quality standards, handling scope adjustments as needed.
3. Act as an interface across departments, local affiliates, and IT partners.
4. Drive alignment with ZEISS-wide governance frameworks and process standards.
5. Identify and manage project risks, escalating issues promptly.
6. Establish and track KPIs, communicating performance to senior stakeholders.
7. Help formulate best practices for global finance transformation.

Minimum Requirements

• Sustainable experience in financial transformations, process governance, or shared services.
• Proven track record leading extensive projects in global environments.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is an asset.
• Deep understanding of SAP ERP systems, preferably S/4HANA.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German is desirable.
