We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (f/m/x) to join our team for an exciting upcoming opportunity.

The client is one of the leading mobility and transportation companies in Northern Germany, and the project involves the implementation of a Data & Analytics Insight platform.

As a Senior Project Manager (f/m/x), you will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team of Avenga experts and the client’s stakeholders. You will take the lead in planning and managing the project, coordinating timelines and budgets, ensuring high-quality delivery, and fostering smooth collaboration between all involved parties.

This is you

• You bring 5–7 years of experience in project management within IT or digital transformation projects
• You are fluent in German and English
• You hold at least one certification from Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org
• Ideally, you have experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Data & Analytics environments
• You are based in Northern Germany and able to work on-site in Hamburg 2–3 days per week
• You are structured, proactive, people-oriented – and love to keep even complex projects on track

This is your role

• Take full ownership of the project on behalf of Avenga
• Lead the end-to-end delivery from planning through to final handover
• Prepare and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules
• Coordinate and communicate with client-side stakeholders and internal teams
• Guide the project team and ensure alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and delivery standards
• Apply agile project management methods and ensure iterative value delivery
• Identify project risks early and manage them proactively
• Ensure project handover is smooth and client-ready

Please note that this position requires frequent travel to Hamburg.
