Position: Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Hamburg, Germany (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of electrical integration projects in shipbuilding, typically lasting 3-5 years.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and ensure alignment with client needs and company goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulators for timely delivery and compliance.
• Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection and contract negotiations.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead and guide project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Serve as the main contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Prepare and present project reports and performance metrics to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Electrical or Marine Engineering or a related field, with:

• At least 8 years of project management experience, particularly in electrical integration for shipbuilding or similar complex projects.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Experience with project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Waterfall) and tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• Project management certification (IPMA-B, PMI, Prince) or equivalent experience.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to undergo security checks and travel up to 40%.
• Proficiency in German and English (C1 or higher).

Additional Information

This role involves some travel for customer meetings, mostly virtual, with travel up to 40%.
