Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Headquartered in Ireland and delivering throughout Europe, Winthrop Engineering & Contracting is a leading engineering company specializing in data centres. As of 2021, we employ approximately 650 people. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team on a project based at our Frankfurt site.

Responsibilities

1. Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets.
2. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
3. Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slips.
4. Review construction proposals, pricing, and scopes.
5. Lead client meetings and other required meetings.
6. Monitor factors influencing construction costs and report on this data.
7. Apply knowledge of construction procurement methods and long-lead equipment.
8. Review, validate, and audit cost estimates from subcontractors and clients.
9. Support engineering decisions related to project costs during design-build changes.
10. Ensure equipment meets project schedule requirements.
11. Coordinate scheduling reviews with consultants.
12. Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments.
13. Oversee project closeout, including transfer of construction to the client, documentation, and warranties.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
• Experience in data centres is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
