Short Description

The Senior Project Manager's mission is to efficiently deliver allocated projects, meeting scope, timelines, and budget while aligning with business requirements for 100% satisfaction upon completion. Ensuring on-site safety and quality is of utmost importance.

This role falls within the DCS Delivery Team, responsible for managing a team of Project Managers delivering expansion and new build projects across Germany.

The DCS Delivery team oversees construction and infrastructure projects within Colt DCS's pan-European and APAC estate. They aspire to be the knowledge and excellence hub for data center construction and project management, providing valuable support with a punctual, creative, and 'can-do' attitude.

• Experience of delivering construction projects, preferably within the data centre industry
• Good knowledge of international best practices for health and safety
• Technical knowledge of construction, mechanical, and electrical services
• Experience in civil, structural, and architectural design and construction techniques
• Experience in design & build contract delivery strategies
• An in-depth understanding of the technical, procedural, contractual, and commercial aspects of project delivery
• Ability to manage scope, cost, programme, quality, and risks to deliver business goals; a problem solver
• Ability to apply due process and governance when managing complex projects from initiation to handover and closure
• Ability to formulate and implement a clear strategy for project delivery through all stages
• Expertise in financial management, programme management, and managing project dependencies and risks
• Ability to provide high-quality and accurate reports, programmes, and cost forecasts
• A high degree of project management and coordination skills to maximize available resources; add value; deliver to milestones
