Your Mission

Terra One is seeking Project Managers to lead the execution of our rapidly growing battery energy storage (BESS) pipeline. As a member of a team of industry experts, you will take charge of significant ongoing projects and contribute directly to our ambitious goal of delivering multiple BESS projects by 2025. This role offers a fast track to becoming a seasoned professional in the energy sector, propelling your career forward by directly managing critical aspects of pioneering BESS projects in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for approved projects and managing them at all stages, from RTB, construction, connection to the grid and commissioning
• Directly overseeing and managing EPC contractors to ensure timely project execution
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address any on-site issues or concerns
• Comprehensive tracking, forecasting and reporting to ensure adherence to cost, timeline, quality targets
• Reviewing and enforcing EPC & supplier contracts to ensure full compliance with all obligations
• Act as the project's representative to external entities such as investors, government agencies, power grid operators
• Lead project teams and contribute actively to the establishment of project benchmarks and processes within the organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering : electrical, mechanical, civil engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years qualified professional experience in project management demonstrably positive and increasing level of responsibility, complexity of tasks and PM achievements
• Experience with project commissioning including contractor follow-ups and site approvals for construction progress and quality control
• Good negotiation skills, coupled with high sensitivity to different mentalities and practices in an international business environment
• Fluent spoken and written business English and C1 German
• High willingness to travel to project locations within Germany
