Job summary

TechMinds GmbH sucht eine:n Senior Director Program Management zur matrixorientierten Führung komplexer Entwicklungsprogramme. Sie steuern Program Directors und Release Managers, tragen Verantwortung für Planung, Governance und Ressourcenverteilung und berichten direkt an die Geschäftsführung.

Sie bringen 15+ Jahre Erfahrung in F&E oder technischer Programmleitung mit, verfügen über exzellente Stakeholder-Kommunikation und bewegen sich sicher zwischen Strategie und operativem Tiefgang.

Qualifications

• 15+ Jahre Erfahrung in F&E, Produktentwicklung oder technischer Programmleitung
• Leitung von Programmmanagement-Organisationen über internationale Standorte
• Masterabschluss oder höher in Ingenieurwesen, Technologie oder Naturwissenschaften
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in PMP/PRINCE2 und Produktlebenszyklus-Governance in regulierten Umgebungen
• Führungserfahrung mit direkter Berichtsverbindung und Change Management in globalen Organisationen
• Technischer Hintergrund in Software und Hardware; Führungsstärke auf strategischer Ebene
• Ausgeprägte Executive-Kommunikation, Business-Urteilsvermögen und Auftreten
• Inspirierende, bestimmte Führungsweise ohne Micromanagement
• Idealerweise Erfahrung in regulierten Branchen wie Automotive
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse; Deutsch von Vorteil

Job description

You take on the matrix leadership of complex development programs at a globally leading technology company. You lead Program Directors and Release Managers, own programs from concept to post-market support and report directly to executive leadership.

Ihre Aufgaben

• You take on the matrix leadership of large, complex development programs at a globally leading technology company and steer their execution from concept through market launch to post-market support
• You lead the Program Directors and Release Managers in your team on a disciplinary and functional level and own talent development and succession planning
• You take end-to-end ownership of the programs and ensure delivery on time, in the required quality, on budget and within the agreed scope
• You define the program management plan with strategic program objectives, key milestones and success metrics
• You own the system gate governance and ensure the Minimum Viable Product stays on track
• You act as the primary liaison to senior leadership and the business lines, ensuring clear communication, alignment and continuous buy-in
• You identify and manage risks early and address potential roadblocks before they impact delivery
• You report to executive leadership, deliver decision-relevant reports and presentations and embed best practices, tools and methodologies for continuous improvement
• You lead and motivate internationally distributed, cross-functional teams and align them to deliver outstanding results

Ihr Profil

• You bring more than 15 years of relevant experience in R&D, product development or technical program management
• You have led program management organizations across multiple internationally distributed sites
• You hold a Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, Natural Sciences or a related technical field
• You bring solid expertise in program management methodologies (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) as well as product lifecycle governance in regulated technical environments
• You have led program management teams in direct reporting lines and successfully driven change management in global organizations
• You have a technical background in software and hardware and move confidently between strategic leadership and operational depth
• You convince through strong executive stakeholder management, business acumen and executive presence
• You lead in an inspiring and assertive way, without falling into micromanagement
• You ideally bring experience from regulated industries such as automotive
• You have excellent English skills as the corporate language; German is an advantage
