Senior Product Manager (Onboarding and Discovery) m / f / x (Remote)

As the Senior Product Manager leading Onboarding and Discovery, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our users and customers immediately recognize the value of simpleclub. You’ll work with a dedicated cross-functional team of engineers and designers to craft an exceptional onboarding experience and optimize how new and existing users discover relevant content & features. This is an IC role with high visibility and ownership, reporting to the Head of Product.

Tasks

1. Own and drive the onboarding and discovery domain — helping trainees, trainers, and decision-makers get started with the right content and tools on simpleclub’s platform.
2. Understand user needs, business goals, and market dynamics to define and execute a long-term roadmap.
3. Lead a cross-functional team through discovery, prioritization, and delivery of the product roadmap using agile methodologies.
4. Ensure smooth execution by aligning stakeholders, unblocking teams, and building momentum toward product milestones.
5. Act as the internal expert for onboarding and discovery, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to inform decisions and enable strong go-to-market execution.
6. Conduct user interviews and utilize data (including SQL) to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and guide continuous product improvements.
7. Contribute to the broader product organization by sharing learnings, applying industry best practices, and helping shape team OKRs and performance.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in Product Management, including 2+ years in a Senior PM role at a high-growth startup or scale-up, leading cross-functional teams of engineers and designers.
2. Hands-on experience building B2B SaaS products is a must-have.
3. Business proficiency in English and German (B2 level or higher) is required.
4. Experience with user research, data analysis, and competitive insights, translating them into impactful product roadmaps.
5. Excellent planning skills with experience in roadmapping, prioritization, OKR-setting, and tracking to deliver outcomes that meet both user needs and business objectives.
6. Ability to collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to align on the roadmap, actively unblock, and support execution for smooth delivery.
7. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with teams like Sales, Education, and Customer Success to align priorities and drive collaboration.
8. Proficiency in SQL and confidence in using data to guide decisions and validate assumptions.
9. A high sense of ownership — proactive, adaptable, and thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where initiative and impact are valued.

Salary

We value transparency. The salary band for this role in Germany is €67,500 - €91,300 gross annually. For other locations, we adapt to local markets. Your salary will be reviewed at least once a year, and during the interview process, we will evaluate your skills and experience to determine your placement within the band.
