Job Description:

This is a remote position and we're considering candidates in Germany only.

As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain. You will own your product’s roadmap, collateral, and market research, collaborating with Grafana leadership to refine your product’s goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, effectively communicating needs, functionality, and details to both external customers and internal stakeholders. Since teams are fully remote and globally distributed, strong and proactive communication skills are essential.

Product Managers connect Engineering, Design, and Go-To-Market teams, facilitating the free flow of information and representing our products to customers with technical proficiency.

The Role

As the Product Manager for AI, you will oversee our AI offerings, drive the roadmap, and collaborate with R&D to promote AI-enhanced workflows and features. You will develop a deep understanding of applying AI technologies to solve customer challenges in observability and help define how Grafana Labs can leverage AI for growth.

General responsibilities include:

• Transforming ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap
• Understanding customer problems to gather user needs, requirements, and pain points
• Representing user feedback to Engineering, supporting tradeoff decisions
• Collaborating with Product Marketing to explain our platform’s differentiation through documentation, blogs, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers
• Making strategic decisions on go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering

We’re excited about you because you have:

• A BSBA/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in Product Management
• 3+ years working on B2B SaaS products
• Experience with AI, ML, and GenAI
• A passion for working on complex, highly technical products and customer solutions
• Experience partnering with Product Design for user experience
• Experience with engineering teams in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills

Bonus Points

• Experience with Grafana open source projects or OpenTelemetry
• Experience building observability or developer tools
• Experience with open source software or commercial open source companies

In Germany, the salary range for this role is EUR 91,464 - EUR 109,757. Compensation varies based on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and others. Specific pay ranges will be discussed if applying from a different country.
