Apaleo in Munich is seeking a Sr. Product Manager Fiscal & Legal to lead end-to-end delivery within the fiscal and legal domain, shaping invoicing and tax-related features in an API-first architecture.

Qualifikationen

• 3–4 years' experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment.
• Strong execution mindset; you’re energized by shipping and take ownership of your product area.
• Comfort working with technical, API-first products and architecture discussions with engineers.
• Sharp prioritisation instincts to sequence work and stay focused.
• Genuine curiosity for complex domains and attention to detail.
• Clear, confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Working shoulder to shoulder with engineering as a technical partner.You'llget into the detail of our API-first architecture rather than handing off a ticket and waiting.


• Shielding your team from noise and distractions so they can focus on what matters, whilst keeping delivery predictable.


• Partnering with customer success,complianceand engineering stakeholders to understandwhat'sneeded and translate it into shippable work.


• Helping the team move faster on new country launches, contributing to our ambition of makingApaleocompliant in many more markets over the next few years.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• At least 3 to 4 years' experience as a Product Manager, ideally inafatmovingstartup or scale up environment.


• A strong execution mindset.You'reenergised by shipping, not just planning, and you take ownership of your product area without needing to behand held.


• Comfort working with technical, API-first products. You can talk architecture with engineers, challenge theirthinkingand understand whatyou'reshipping in real depth.


• Sharp prioritisation instincts. You know how to sequence work, say no togood ideasthataren'tgreat ones, and keep a team focused day to day.


• A genuine curiosity for complex domains. You dig into the details rather than staying at the surface, andyou'renot afraid of a codebase with some history to it.


• Clear, confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Extra Awesome Points For

• Experience with fiscal, tax or legal compliance topics, for example in fintech,e-commerceor ERP systems. This is a genuine nice to have, not a requirement.


• Familiarity with platform products where you expose APIs for others to build on.
