Tasks

  • Full responsibility for the strategic direction and commercial success of the IONOS Private Cloud. Your decisions will significantly shape the product and its market position.
  • Development of long-term strategies and roadmaps that unlock new market opportunities and ensure the product's success.
  • Conducting in-depth market analyses and competitor surveillance to identify competitive advantages and drive product innovation.
  • Identifying and implementing innovative product solutions through expertise in virtualization technologies.
  • Representing IONOS at industry events as a product expert and building valuable relationships to strengthen the market position.
  • Close collaboration with sales, marketing, and technology teams to ensure that product developments are optimally implemented and marketed.
  • Monitoring product performance and quality, and implementing targeted measures to optimize them.
  • Supporting internal and external communication of product developments, as well as collaborating with marketing teams to create effective campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Completed degree in business administration, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 3, preferably 5 years of professional experience in product management, preferably with a cloud service provider or in the IT industry.
  • In-depth understanding of virtualization technologies; knowledge of VMware is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience in creating business cases and pricing models.
  • Leadership qualities and experience in leading a team.
  • High self-motivation and results-orientation.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
