Qualifikationen

Senior Product Manager - ESG (m/f/x)

Description

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the development and execution of new ESG products, ensuring they align with evolving international regulations. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, UI/UX teams, and development teams to shape best-in-class solutions.

While prior knowledge of ESG laws is a plus, a strong interest in sustainability, compliance, and product innovation is essential. You will navigate a fast-changing regulatory landscape, helping businesses stay ahead while making a meaningful impact on global sustainability efforts.

This role is based in Mannheim, a vibrant tech hub at the heart of Germany, where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, with three days a week in the office, ensuring the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving product innovation by conceptualizing and delivering new ESG solutions that align with international reporting regulations (CSRD, ISSB, GRI, EU Taxonomy & more).
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, development, and product delivery to bring products to life.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance by staying informed on legal requirements and integrating them into product roadmaps.
• Acting as the in-house product expert by keeping up-to-date with ESG legislation and proactively adapting product strategies to new developments.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bringing expertise in B2B SaaS product management, covering both product discovery and delivery.
• Experience working very closely with software engineers to build and improve products.
• Applying knowledge of ESG regulations by leveraging prior experience with ISSB reporting or financial reporting (preferred but not required).
• Driving data-informed decision-making by using market insights, customer feedback, and regulatory trends to guide product direction.
• Balancing business, design, and technology by aligning diverse stakeholder needs to build intuitive, impactful products.
• Communicating fluently in German and English (C1 level) to engage effectively with global teams and stakeholders
