As a Senior Product Manager with a global focus, you will act as the face of the product, working closely with clients to present, demonstrate, and shape the product based on real-world feedback. This role combines expert product knowledge with customer-facing experience to ensure we build and deliver what the market truly needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent the product in client and executive meetings; deliver demos, lead discussions, and present at events, conferences, and webinars.
- Travel regularly to Shiji offices and customer sites worldwide to validate market problems and gather product feedback.
- Conduct market research and define requirements for current and future products through ongoing engagement with clients and prospects.
- Participate in strategic conversations, contributing product vision and market insight to support growth.
- Lead conceptual presentations and dialogues to provide business context for design and decision-making.
- Maintain initiative backlogs and prioritize features aligned with customer needs and business value.
- Define and strengthen synergies within the broader Shiji portfolio to enhance the product offering.
- Step in for Product Director when needed in strategic or operational meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a mentor to other PMs and POs, offering guidance on processes, communication, and customer engagement best practices.
- Take ownership of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment between product direction and client requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software product management, product ownership, or development in related areas.
- Experience in story writing, sprint planning, refinement, writing of release notes, and sprint review presentations.
- 4+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, either with product development, management, implementations, or support.
- Proven ability to confidently represent the product in external-facing scenarios, including client meetings, executive discussions, and industry events.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally to gather product feedback and validate market needs across customer locations and internal teams.
- Strong capability in conducting market research and synthesizing insights into actionable product requirements.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to product vision and long-term planning aligned with business goals.
- Experience fostering collaboration across product portfolios to maximize value and consistency in the overall offering.
- Trusted to represent leadership in key meetings and drive stakeholder alignment when needed.
- Demonstrated ownership of cross-functional initiatives, with the ability to align product direction with evolving customer and business requirements.
