DESCRIPTION

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a rapidly growing, global operation unit that significantly impacts the customer experience.

Within ATS, Amazon Freight Partner is a new program enabling entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon, with exclusive learning, local hiring, and long-term growth potential.

The Amazon Freight Partner team seeks candidates with entrepreneurial spirit, quick learning ability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help improve and optimize operational performance through metrics and technology. You will work cross-functionally to gain a global view of current operations and identify improvements, leveraging data and technology, and fostering synergies within the organization and partners. You will oversee existing metrics, establish governance, and analyze major influencing factors, making key decisions to enhance performance and influence the direction of the Middle Mile business.

You will collaborate with Operations, Program Development, Global Tech, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Carrier Management, Network Planning, and other teams within Surface Transportations to develop transformative initiatives. We seek a data-driven, innovative problem solver comfortable with ambiguity and focused on customer satisfaction. Experience working globally across organizational levels is essential.

Key job responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor metrics to track operational and program growth, ensuring proper governance.
• Collaborate internally and cross-organizationally to unify data sources and conduct in-depth analyses of influencing factors.
• Develop understanding of tools, data, products, and teams, working on complex problems involving technology and business performance, leveraging existing solutions and innovating.
• Gain global domain expertise, assess technology roadmaps, and identify pain points, synergies, and value-added initiatives.
• Use data to inform decision-making, analyze feedback, and improve transparency of key metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word); familiarity with Tableau, Quicksight, SQL, Python preferred
• Experience with strategic and tactical projects
• Proven product, program, or technology management experience
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree
• Experience defining and owning roadmaps
• Strategic thinking and methodical execution skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
