The role

We firmly believe that our user experience is one of the key components of our success, which is why we want to focus on it even more in the future. In the past five years we have developed into the best-rated banking app in Germany – and we want to become even better. By closely interlinking user research, design and product management with product development, we enable our customers to do good and experience finances that don’t feel like finances. As a (Senior) Product Designer (f/m/x), you are part of our interdisciplinary Growth Team and work closely with a Product Manager, as well as Mobile, Web, and Backend Engineers.

Your Creative Challenge
You will design the first touchpoint for new customers with lasting ‘wow moments’ and help them to kick-start their finances with Tomorrow. The new Tomorrow Quitt App also falls under the ownership of this team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing new functions, taking into consideration user needs and business and technical targets.

• Optimizing features and app performance in collaboration with other designers and developers.

• Further developing Tomorrow’s unique design with a strong focus on user value and exceptional visual aesthetics.

• Leading and participating in ideation sessions to generate new features and improvements.

• Translating research insights and stakeholder feedback into workable design concepts.

• Creating mock-ups and code-based prototypes to visualize and test design concepts.

• Carrying out usability tests to continually improve features.

What you can expect

What we're looking for

• You have extensive practical experience in interdisciplinary teams.

• You appreciate it when ideas quickly take shape, are willing to experiment and attach importance to learning early and making detailed improvements further down the line.

• You follow a user-centered approach and have strong UI skills in the design of mobile apps.

• You can communicate your concepts and ideas with scribbles, wireframes, designs and prototypes in a way that people understand.

• You have plenty of experience using tools like Figma and Code, and also enjoy trying out new tools.

• You enjoy writing microcopy and can confidently formulate it in German and English.

• You have at least an interest in code prototyping and a basic understanding of code.

• You are fluent in English, written as well as spoken.

• You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

Salary

52.000 - 67.000 EUR annual gross + one-time 5.000 EUR in virtual shares.

Working from home and mobile work are therefore integral parts of our remote-friendly work culture. At the same time, we believe in the huge advantages of meeting up and working together in person. Our fantastic office in Hamburg is the perfect space for this and available to you any time. Our office is wheelchair-accessible, has ground-level access and offers flexible options for designing your workspace. We expect our future (Senior) Product Designer (f/m/x) to spend a minimum of one week per month working on-site and be open to come to the office for additional events (such as design sprints).
