Job Description

Company Description: Our Production Department is responsible for the operations behind the online used-car-buying experience for private customers — from deciding the repair scope and evaluating car condition, to repairing vehicles and collecting data points needed for online advertising. We focus on speed, quality, and efficiency, always applying a data-driven approach.

Support us as Senior Supply Chain Manager in Production by constantly questioning the status quo and demonstrating your negotiating skills and supply chain knowledge. As part of the Business Development team at our headquarters in Berlin, you will work closely with all Production management teams in Europe and our Director of Production Europe to enhance our supply chain for Production.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships to maximize value.
2. Analyze supplier data, products, lead times, and pricing to identify optimization potential.
3. Identify and integrate new top suppliers to build a superior supplier network serving all production centers in Europe.
4. Develop and execute a European roadmap for cost savings and other supplier network improvements.
5. Oversee and lead the improvement of all direct and indirect procurement processes within the Production department, including system implementation, ongoing analysis, budgeting, and cross-border benchmarking.
6. Manage cross-functional, data-driven projects and collaborate with stakeholders, including top management.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in procurement, ideally from a start-up, management consultancy, fast-growing company, or automotive sector, with 5+ years in procurement/supply chain management focusing on Germany, Spain, Italy, or France.
2. Excellent communication and contract negotiation skills.
3. Strong hands-on experience in building procurement processes.
4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to draw conclusions from data.
5. Pragmatic, solution-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently and in teams.
6. Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
