The Amazon EU Sortation Center Process Engineering (PE) Team is seeking a proven technical leader with extensive experience in leading continuous improvement projects, applying planning and engineering principles to operations.
This role involves developing and implementing process improvement initiatives within the logistics and distribution industry. As a Senior PE, you will collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, including operations, network planning, labor planning, and service performance, to design and improve our Sort Centers' flow processes, challenging existing operational norms.

Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making are essential. You will lead initiatives independently and with your team, impacting our growing business significantly.
Successful candidates will be strong leaders with excellent prioritization, communication, and a proven track record of delivering results. You should be capable of creating and presenting documentation to senior executives and aligning your roadmap with Amazon’s strategic goals. Experience in data analysis, root cause analysis, implementing long-term solutions, and leading teams with advanced analytical skills is required.
Willingness to travel up to 30% is expected.
Your role will include observing and auditing to identify process enhancements, recommending changes, and managing stakeholder projects to implement new processes. You will be based at a site, responsible for improving operational efficiency, and may analyze other sites as needed. Sharing ideas across the EU network and using data to drive improvements will be key components of your role.
The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is vital to Amazon’s delivery speed. Using various transport modes and advanced sortation centers, the team ensures maximum efficiency.
