5th Wave's customer is one of the world's largest specialist boutique consulting firms focused on designing and implementing solutions in IBM TM1 Planning Analytics for both public and private sector organisations.

The Role

They are seeking experienced Senior / Principal Consultants to fill a full-time role within their team.

This is a customer-facing role requiring close collaboration with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop the desired front-end UX.

High standards of professional communication and knowledge of TM1 front-end tools such as Apliqo, Workspace, Perspectives are essential.

Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyzing and evaluating business requirements systematically
• Defining solution scope, time, cost, and risk by translating business needs into functional and non-functional deliverables
• Estimating and planning project deliverables and success criteria
• Identifying project risks and assumptions
• Communicating with stakeholders and project teams to clarify roles and responsibilities
• Implementing financial planning solutions in IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 as per scope
• Managing potential Change Requests in collaboration with the project team
• Participating in Post Implementation Reviews and owning follow-up actions

Desired Skills and Experience

• Over 5 years’ experience in delivering financial planning applications, with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 experience highly valued
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Experience across all project lifecycle phases including scoping, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment, utilizing project management methodologies
• Deep knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics / TM1, including cube design, TurboIntegrator processes, and rule engine; IBM Cognos TM1 Certified Developer preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges with effective solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
