Zusammenfassung

Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH in Germany seeks an experienced IT Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise AI platforms and services. You will drive integration of modern AI/LLM technologies, build MLOps practices, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant operations. Required: 5+ years in designing IT platforms, Linux, Kubernetes, cloud, GitOps, and scripting.

Fluency in German and English. You will advise development teams and enhance observability, monitoring, and cost management

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT platforms.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud computing.
• Good knowledge of modern CI/CD and GitOps methods.
• Strong experience in developing scripts and tools to automate deployments and configurations.
• Ideally knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, and AI governance concepts; experience in building and operating AI, machine learning, or generative AI platforms.
• Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as team player attitude.
• Very good German and English skills.
