Job summary

ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, implement and maintain IT platforms and AI services for advanced microchip production. You will drive the integration of AI, LLM technologies, and governance across enterprise landscapes, building scalable MLOps and platform practices.

Strong scripting and automation skills are essential, with fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience designing, implementing, and maintaining IT platforms.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud computing.
• Good knowledge of modern CI/CD and GitOps methods.
• Strong experience in developing scripts and tools to automate deployments and configurations.
• Ideally knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, and AI governance concepts; experience in building and operating AI platforms.
• Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as team player attitude.
• Very good German and English skills.
