Qualifikationen

• Langfristige Berufserfahrung in internationalen Turnkey-Projekten, idealerweise im Bereich HVDC.
• Fähigkeit, Projektzeitpläne, Kosten und Qualität sicherzustellen.

Aufgaben

• Entwurf von HVDC-Anlagenlayouts gemäß Projektanforderungen.
• Leitung eines Projektteams von Ingenieuren bis zur Bauphase.

About the Role

As a Senior Plant Layout Engineer (f/m/d) for HVDC systems, you will be responsible for developing the best-fit solutions for our plant design of HVDC systems, contributing significantly to the energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Design of HVDC plant layouts as a solution to individual project requirements.
2. Leading a project team of electromechanical, acoustic, seismic, and CAD engineers from project start till the construction phase of the plant.
3. Responsible for the overall coordination of all involved fields (engineering fields, sales, project management, installation, suppliers) in the design process to ensure compliance with customer requirements, EHS, and international standards.
4. Main contact person for the HVDC plant layout to our customers, internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers.
5. Ensuring the overall success of the project regarding time, costs, and quality.

What You Bring

1. Completed university degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering. Alternatively, you have a comparable education in a technical field with corresponding professional experience.
2. Long-term professional experience in international turnkey projects, ideally in the field of HVDC, FACTS, or substations.
3. Advanced project management skills to ensure project timelines, costs, and quality.
4. Leadership and communication skills as well as motivation, willingness to learn, and passion for the job.
5. Fluent English skills, German (B1 level) is a plus.
6. Basic knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX, or similar) or willingness to learn them.
