Job Description:

Join our international IP team as a Senior Patent Manager - Litigation. You will play a strategic role in managing patent activities related to new product launches and existing product lifecycle management. Your responsibilities include handling legal challenges, coordinating opposition proceedings, leading defense strategies in infringement lawsuits, advising senior leadership, and managing settlement negotiations. You will also develop patent strategies for critical product launches.

Qualifications:

• Degree in chemistry or pharmacy
• Qualified patent attorney or assessor with a strong track record in patent litigation
• European Qualifying Examination (EQE) or equivalent
• Extensive experience in European and German patent law, especially in litigation
• Experience managing complex patent disputes
• Previous experience in industrial patent departments or top law firms desirable
• Meticulous, independent, proactive working style
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent English skills; German proficiency advantageous
