THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Senior Packaging Engineer (m/f/d) in our Packaging R&D Team, you will develop new unpacking experiences that reconcile operational efficiency, customer experience, packaging quality and sustainability. You will rethink our current customer-facing and intralogistics packaging and optimize or design new scalable solutions - supporting discovery, design and delivery for new product categories. You work jointly with our supply partners and internal stakeholders, always keeping a strong focus on our customers and the planet.

• End-to-End responsibility for key packaging development projects
• Drive innovation to enable, to engineer and design a more sustainable, scalable packaging portfolio
• Own and drive all Packaging Quality processes, including testing, site visits and defect resolution

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…

• Degree with a focus on Packaging Engineering (Material Science expertise is a plus), Industrial engineering, Logistics Engineering or comparable education as well as professional experience in the area of product / service development within Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Relevant professional experience designing new customer propositions and bringing physical products from ideation to production to hand over for scaling. Experience working for a packaging supplier is a plus.
• Passion for developing new customer experiences with sustainability top of mind, paper-based packaging, manufacturing, logistics, sustainability desirable
• Design-driven and customer-centric mindset: experience running user research is desirable
• Excellent English communications skills (German strongly desirable)
• Valid driver’s license recognized in Europe
