Senior Operations Excellence Manager (all genders)

Your role

Do you thrive on the challenge of optimizing warehouse operations and supply chain efficiency? We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact as our Senior Operations Excellence Manager. You'll be at the forefront of our efforts to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and drive cost efficiencies across our logistics operations. Your role will encompass project management in the logistics arena, focusing on process optimization in the supply chain and expansion of our logistics network.

• Manage projects in the logistics area like process optimization in the warehouse, expansion of our logistics network or interfaces between different departments.
• Lead the planning, setup, and execution of a new fulfillment center abroad, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with local regulations.
• Analyse current warehouse operation and logistics processes to identify areas for efficiency and productivity enhancements.
• Assist in managing carriers, monitoring performance and optimizing lead time and transportation costs.
• Support in defining changes and enhancements in the warehouse management system to improve inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with the warehouse trainer to ensure staff is well-trained on the latest processes and SOPs.
• Monitor the implementation of process improvements and analyze the impact on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process/system optimization while maintaining high quality standards.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably in an e-commerce environment and in logistics or warehouse operations.
• Hands-on experience in setting up new fulfillment or distribution centers and warehouse automation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude and a desire to drive positive change within the organization.
• Data-driven and result-oriented mindset with proficiency in using analytics tools to drive operational improvements.
• Fluency in English; Polish is a plus.
• Required weekly office presence at our Berlin office – with additional willingness for day trips within Europe a few times per year.
