Overview
We are looking for a skilled Senior Integration Engineer (OpenText) to support our client in redesigning and optimizing their integration processes. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Extended ECM platform integrations for applications lacking out-of-the-box connectors.
This role involves working on both on-premises and cloud-based solutions, with a focus on maximizing the capabilities of the Extended ECM (xECM) platform.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement integration solutions using OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) platform capabilities.
- Replace existing customized code with standardized, reusable integration patterns.
- Support the transition from legacy REST API integrations via ESB to Azure API Management.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to assess integration requirements for on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Integrate xECM with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) using Integration Services.
- Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and secure, while aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Produce documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Flexible: The work location for this role includes a mix of working remotely and onsite at a client in Luxembourg.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Extended ECM platform integrations, particularly for applications without standard connectors.
- Strong knowledge of integration with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook) and related Integration Services.
- Expertise in REST API development and API lifecycle management.
- Practical experience with Azure API Management (or similar platforms).
- Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and system interoperability (on-premises and cloud).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in IT consulting or system integration roles.
- 3+ years working with OpenText xECM or similar ECM solutions.
- Proven track record of delivering integration projects in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Experience migrating away from legacy ESB solutions.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, OpenText xECM) are a plus.
