Senior Officer in Risk Controlling (m/f/d)
The Risk Controlling Team, as a central unit within the Risk Management Department responsible for credit and market risks controls, portfolio risk monitoring, as well as risk management methodologies and risk solutions, is looking for a new member to support on the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
- Own internal credit portfolio risk model methodology, its maintenance and documentation.
- Play a key contributing role in technical implementation of risk management models, in particular, contribute to the technical implementation and maintenance of credit scoring and credit monitoring models
- Own the solution of ex-ante monitoring of portfolio KPIs for different Funds, including its design implementation, maintenance and documentation.
- Implement and advance further the existing solution for Fund KRI monitoring and ex-ante reporting.
- Lead project workstreams that include implementation and roll out of credit scoring models, and Fund KRI monitoring frameworks.
- Mentor and coordinate junior team members in the initiatives and workstreams of area of responsibility.
- Support other Senior and Junior colleagues in other tasks related to maintenance of risk management tools.
- Coordinate and liaise with different internal and external stakeholders
- Operationally support the process of ex-ante portfolio KRI monitoring for the Funds’ investments.
What we expect:
- At least five years of demonstrated professional experience in the financial industry, ideally with a focus on quantitative / statistical technical model implementation projects
- Very good knowledge of statistical analysis and quantitative methods /credit risk models, such as CreditMetrics, CAPM, VaR etc.
- Strong command of programming in R or Python, including ability to do data analysis, automation and visualization
- Experience of using and configuring CreditLensTM would be a strong advantage.
- Strong command of at least one other programming language such as C#, C++, Java is an advantage.
- Knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL), VBA/DAX/Power Query would be an advantage
- Academic degree in financial engineering, financial mathematics, IT engineering or similar
- Relevant professional certifications demonstrating desired skillset or qualification will be a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Good MS Office skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong team-motivation, hands-on mentality coupled with a diligent, proactive working attitude and an open communication style
