Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer (m/f/d) to develop our home-grown CRM System (Customer Relationship Management System). The CRM-Tech circle is embedded in our circle cluster “Customer & Shop Intelligence”, which is responsible for driving a personalized and inspiring shop experience.

CRM-Tech’s mission is to deliver personalized and intelligent recommendations, along with tailored mailing, push notifications, onsite notifications, and coupons to our customers, leveraging their historical consumption behavior. We handle over 15 million real-time API calls per hour and manage extensive data resources to ensure the best shopping experience for our customers.

We also serve as an internal tool for our marketing managers to handle CRM campaigns, continuously building a user-friendly experience that enables daily business operations.

What you will do

• Develop cutting-edge CRM software utilizing Node.js with TypeScript.
• Manage extensive data volumes efficiently, employing Google BigQuery and MySQL, and integrate seamlessly with Business Intelligence systems.
• Build and enhance high-traffic APIs, ensuring minimal latencies.
• Use empathy towards users to discover problems and solutions continuously.
• Collaborate with experienced developers, product managers, and QA experts to solve business and user problems by enriching current functionalities and launching new features.
• Draft architectural decisions with our Tech Lead and explore new technologies.
• Innovate rapidly and grow in a culture with swift decision-making processes.

Who you are

• Minimum 5 years of Node.js experience
• Recent experience with TypeScript
• Solid knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with job-based data processing
• Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, and actively maintain code quality
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Used to working in an English-speaking and agile environment
• Proactive and ownership-driven
• MVP mindset and accustomed to a high-speed environment
• Effective communication with stakeholders and internal users
