Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team. The start date is flexible, preferably immediate. This is a full-time, 100% remote position based in Germany.

Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure.
2. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
3. Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN).
4. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
5. Troubleshoot network issues and resolve them promptly.
6. Collaborate with network architects for network optimization.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients.
8. Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
9. Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in network engineering.
3. In-depth knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
4. Practical experience with network hardware (e.g., Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortigate).
5. Proficiency with network monitoring and performance tools.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
