About the role
We are looking for an addition to our Discovery Experience team at Vestiaire Collective. You will be part of a multicultural, innovative, versatile, supportive environment that takes work-life balance seriously. To have a mobile-first experience is one of our top priorities. Our team is working on delivering high-quality user experiences for our 80+ markets in 8+ languages, giving access to our 5M+ items catalog.
You will work with other software engineers and product designers to contribute to Vestiaire Collective's iOS application, focusing on fashion discovery features. You will work on hard and fun problems of fashion discovery where mobile user experience and personalization matter.
What You will do
Build robust, scalable, and maintainable iOS components for our fashion discovery features (search, product recommendations, personalization)
Collaborate with business, product, backend engineers and designers to deploy your solutions to production
Ensure app performance, code quality, and scalability are consistently addressed
Propose and implement R&D POC projects if you identify possible enhancements to the mobile experience, and pitch them to the relevant teams
You will be expected to take on a leadership role on your projects: you will make the appropriate technical choices (architecture patterns, UI frameworks, technologies to use), discuss scope & scheduling with collaborators outside the team, and incorporate feedback as needed
Who you are
At least 5 years of professional experience in iOS development
Demonstrated ability to create and optimize mobile applications with a focus on user experience.
You are very familiar with iOS development best practices.
Strong experience in delivering iOS projects which have created impact on production
Technical knowledge in SwiftUI, Swift, UIKit, iOS frameworks and mobile app architecture
Broad interests in mobile development and adjacent topics: UI/UX, performance optimization, testing, CI/CD
Experience with mobile analytics and A/B testing platforms
Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs
Fluent in English
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
