Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Mobile Developer iOS, you will lead the development and delivery of mobile applications for the IBM Health Platform or similar enterprise-scale solutions. You will oversee multiple teams throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and strategic alignment.

Your primary responsibilities include :

• Pioneering mobile solutions with the latest technologies to add business value and meet user needs.
• Driving continuous improvement through testing and agile development practices.
• Implementing the latest technology trends to develop creative solutions.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Leading mobile architecture decisions using Swift, SwiftUI.
• Mentoring and supporting other developers through documentation and code reviews.
• Building, testing, and deploying native iOS applications.
• Implementing secure backend communication following best practices.
• Championing Security by Design principles and participating in penetration tests.
• Understanding Swift Generics, SDKs like Combine, including async/await.
• Applying principles of S.O.L.I.D and clean architecture.
• Ensuring compliance with industry security standards (OWASP, OpenId, AES, secure communications, access controls).
• Navigating government and regulatory development constraints.
• Collaborating with clients and teams to translate business needs into mobile solutions.
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Managing CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions; managing dependencies with Cocoapods and SPM.
• Fluent German language skills are mandatory.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is highly valued.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Domain knowledge of the German health insurance system.
• Understanding gematik standards, including TI, ePA, and eRezept, focusing on interoperability and security.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and German healthcare data regulations.
