This role is based in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we provide deep technical and industry expertise to diverse public and private sector clients globally. Our centers deliver local skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and technology adoption.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Mobile Developer Android, you will lead the development and delivery of mobile applications for the IBM Health Platform or similar enterprise-scale solutions. You will oversee multiple teams throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and strategic alignment.

Your primary responsibilities include :

• Pioneering mobile solutions with the latest technologies to add business value and meet user needs.
• Driving continuous improvement through testing and agile practices.
• Implementing the latest technological trends to create innovative solutions.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Leading mobile architecture decisions using Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose, etc.
• Mentoring and supporting developers through documentation and code reviews.
• Building, testing, and deploying native Android applications.
• Implementing secure backend communication using best practices.
• Championing Security by Design principles and participating in penetration tests.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and shared SDKs for Android and iOS.
• Understanding S.O.L.I.D principles and clean architecture.
• Ensuring compliance with security standards like OWASP, OpenId, AES, etc.
• Navigating regulatory constraints.
• Collaborating with clients to translate business needs into mobile solutions.
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Managing CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions.
• Fluent German language skills are mandatory.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Knowledge of the German health insurance system.
• Experience with gematik standards, including TI, ePA, and eRezept.
• Strong understanding of GDPR and German healthcare data regulations.
