Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead the MEP delivery of a major construction project in Frankfurt, reporting directly to the Project Director. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from tender and design coordination through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety requirements are achieved.
- Manage MEP design development and coordination across consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
- Undertake technical tender evaluations and support bid preparation, procurement and subcontractor appointments.
- Manage the day-to-day performance of MEP contractors and specialist vendors.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and execution plans.
- Identify value-engineering opportunities and practical technical solutions.
- Manage project risks, changes and commercial or contractual issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with the client and wider project stakeholders.
- Ensure effective coordination between MEP, CSA, design and commissioning teams.
- Oversee quality assurance, defect resolution, commissioning and final handover.
- Provide leadership, guidance and clear responsibilities across the project team.
Experience Required
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Previous experience in a Senior Project Manager or comparable leadership position.
- Proven ability to manage projects from tender and pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
- Strong knowledge of MEP design management, procurement, subcontractor negotiations and contract administration.
- Experience managing project programmes, budgets, quality and risk.
- Strong contractor, client and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working on data centre, mission-critical or similarly complex technical projects would be highly advantageous.
- Confident leadership and communication skills, with a structured and solutions-focused approach.
