Capstone Recruitment UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the MEP delivery on a major construction project in Frankfurt. You will report to the Project Director and manage from tender through handover.

Role requires strong leadership, extensive MEP design management, procurement and contract administration experience on complex technical projects, ideally data centre or mission-critical. Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven senior PM or equivalent leadership experience.
• Experience delivering projects from tender through handover.
• Strong knowledge of MEP design management, procurement, and contract administration.
• Experience managing programmes, budgets, quality and risk.
• Strong contractor, client and stakeholder management.
• Experience on data centre or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Clear leadership and effective communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead MEP delivery, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety requirements are met.
• Coordinate MEP design across consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Support tender evaluations, procurement and subcontractor appointments.
• Manage day-to-day performance of MEP contractors and vendors.
• Develop project programmes, budgets and execution plans.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities and practical solutions.
• Manage risks, changes and commercial or contractual issues.
• Maintain relationships with client and wider project stakeholders.
• Ensure coordination between MEP, CSA, design and commissioning teams.
• Oversee QA, defect resolution, commissioning and handover.
• Provide leadership and clear responsibilities across the project team.

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will lead the MEP delivery of a major construction project in Frankfurt, reporting directly to the Project Director. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from tender and design coordination through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety requirements are achieved.
• Manage MEP design development and coordination across consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Undertake technical tender evaluations and support bid preparation, procurement and subcontractor appointments.
• Manage the day-to-day performance of MEP contractors and specialist vendors.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and execution plans.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities and practical technical solutions.
• Manage project risks, changes and commercial or contractual issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client and wider project stakeholders.
• Ensure effective coordination between MEP, CSA, design and commissioning teams.
• Oversee quality assurance, defect resolution, commissioning and final handover.
• Provide leadership, guidance and clear responsibilities across the project team.

Experience Required

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Previous experience in a Senior Project Manager or comparable leadership position.
• Proven ability to manage projects from tender and pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
• Strong knowledge of MEP design management, procurement, subcontractor negotiations and contract administration.
• Experience managing project programmes, budgets, quality and risk.
• Strong contractor, client and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working on data centre, mission-critical or similarly complex technical projects would be highly advantageous.
• Confident leadership and communication skills, with a structured and solutions-focused approach.
